The Magic Medicine Is Working, In the spring of 2023, a bronchoscopy revealed that I had Stage IV Lung Cancer. That phone call was a tough one. My husband was devastated. The next few days, I slept, he wept. Dr Yameen said that he would try a chemo medicine that was genetically engineered to attack that kind of cancer. Fortunately it worked and my cancer is in stasis. However, our home and our bodies are deteriorating and the cost of maintenance is high. CAT scans, MRIs , and Sonic imaging are needed. This month's co-pay alone was $2700.

I am trying to raise funds to help offset my sudden unexpected medical costs. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma a few months ago, and have started treatment. For the past 9 months I have been struggling to keep up with my medical bills and my normal household bills, but now I have to ask for help. I am still working, but a lot less hours with all my Dr. appointments, Hospital visits, and Chemo. The medications are incredibly costly too. I am a sole provider at my household, and it has been very difficult. Work is becoming increasingly difficult as a lot of the cancer is in my spine, and its hard to move, bend or lift anything heavy, and I am a metal fabricator. But I don't give up, I press through the pain.
